Hemmant

Located toward the mouth of the Brisbane River, 10 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD is the eastern suburb Hemmant. Largely industrial, the area is one of Brisbane’s oldest suburbs.

Hemmant still features small pockets of farming area, but is primarily industrial, with some residential precincts as well. The industrial area features a large oil refinery as well as a huge amount of warehousing and distribution centres.
