Pinkenba

Although it is only 10 kilometers from the Brisbane CBD, Pinkenba has a largely rural feel. The area is practically split in two between the hugely industrial half to the sparsely populated rural half. Positioned along the banks of the Brisbane River, toward the port of Brisbane and bordered to the North by the Brisbane Airport, the area has remained largely unchanged in recent years.

Pinkenba still houses its own school, although there is only one teacher, as well as a pub, however residents still need to travel to neighboring Hamilton or Ascot for their shopping needs.
